The Weirdest Place to Find Kittens At

Had a lovely day out with the family yesterday, visiting the burial caves of Be’et She’arim. The caves were cool and inviting on a hot day. A bit spooky too – to the point that the kids wouldn’t go in on their own. We were the only ones there most of the time, so imagine this cold and very quiet place, room after room carved in the stone and filled with huge decorated stone coffins…

We had a little surprise there too. And I made it into this collage. Feel free to pass it on or share it with friends -

ETA: this was a feral cat and there was no way for us to get at the kittens. We did write letters last night to several Israeli Ministries and a couple of agencies, asking them to look into feral colonies management through TNR in Israel’s national parks.
