Family Summer Days in Israel

July 1st, 2008 . by Israeli Mom

Going over the pictures I just downloaded from our digital camera, there’s a few I’d like to share here today.

First, big congratulations to my special brother-in-law and his new fiance! He’s the guy on the right in the picture, IsraeliDad’s twin brother (not identical twins though) and he tied the knot with the charming girl by his side over there. We had a small engagement party, which was basically a nice dinner (no shortage of food as you can see) where our side of the family got to meet the bride-to-be’s lovely family. It was a huge success, with songs and laughter till the the small hours of the night.

The other pictures are less exciting, but I know the grandmas are eager, so here goes -

Our Dan is growing and proudly presents his latest achievement in this picture. He’s got good reason for that smug smile too - it wasn’t easy to balance all those little pieces of wood one on top of the other!

Finishing off with a few pictures from our little excursion on Saturday to a small stream next to Megido (the biblical Armageddon). It was a very nice place, quiet and not very touristic.

This also meant that the place was quite dirty, with no one around to clean it up. IsraeliDad rose to the challenge and picked up the trash along the stream on his own - WTG!

There you go, they say a picture’s worth a thousand words, to I guess this post is getting too long! Happy July everyone!
