If you’re in here looking for politics, then you can skip today’s post. It’s all family in pictures – winter pictures of our family in a not very rainy January -
Making a small fire with Uncle Boaz:
Same day, we went to enjoy more green in the fields along the path that goes behind our house. The lettuce field was begging for a picture:
When they put up this wire around the orchard, they weren’t planning on small people like our Dan:
Going back past our neighbors’ place, Ron took this photo of their horses. I love the child’s perspective here, with the horse towering over him:
I noticed we don’t have many more pictures from the beginning of the month, but we got back to the camera once IsraeliDad was back home from the war. This is from a trip made last week to Mt. Horshan:
And a bit out of focus, but still showing how lovely our two hour long walk in the orchards was:
Ron started reading on his own this month. I came into the boys bedroom one evening and found him reading a book out loud to Dan:
Ron’s very mathematically inclined, so IsraeliDad started giving him lessons in geometry:
Well, definitely time for someone’s birthday part at school – Happy Birthday to our Ron!
And finally, can’t end this month without pictures of our favorite parrot enjoying some pecans:

Nothing brings the kids out like fire and water! That’s a great picture of the kids reading together. I miss kids!

What beautiful pictures (note to self: buy lettuce). I’m glad that the parrot decided to stay, he looks quite content.
And a very happy birthday to Ron

These pictures remind me of how my brothers and I were like when we were little kids. Our parents have also taken pictures of our childhood adventures so i have something to look at whenever i miss those moments.
