Maybe it’s me, but my eyes wandered off to some positive news on the web today. Figured I’d share some here.
Trade between Israel, PA steadily rising – pretty impressive, in times of a global financial crisis. Good news for both sides – nothing like money and economic interests to cement stability and make the sides work towards peace.
‘We gave them life. So what if they’re Arabs?’ – report of an emotional meeting between Jews and Arabs who were relatives of organ and tissue donors. I had these wonderful people in mind when the Swedish affair broke out. Whenever a donor makes the news, when the family is willing to lose its anonymity and promote the cause, you see how there is zero discrimination when it comes to organ transplant. Donors are both Arabs and Jews, and the organs go to both Arabs and Jews. Medical considerations, and nothing else, counts when matching donors and recepients. We’re all human beings.
Israeli, Jordanian kids take to soccer pitch – we so need more of this. Like the other articles, this is what co-existence is really about.
Azerbaijan: Israeli delegation helps dozens regain hearing – this one is not about our conflict per se, but just the kind of articles about Zionist Israel that I like seeing. And yes, if you have to, this is about cooperation between Muslims and Jews too.

We do all live in the same neighborhood – you’d think being good neighbors would come naturally.
