September Pictures

Wrapping up September with some images here.

Here’s our school boy on the morning of his very first day of school:

Some pictures from our day trip to visit the family in the kibbutz earlier in September:

Dan wanted to inspect his uncle’s pond up close:

Two adorable puppies wanted to play with me:

Back home, our kids and their friends, trying to bring Grandpa down. Look closely, there’s a Grandpa there in the middle, with five kids trying hard to get him down.

Our Dan and his friend Yonatan amidst Sea Quill flowers that grow not far from where we live. These flowers are known in Israel as signs of Autumn.

Some pictures from IsraeliDad’s niece’s wedding:

The wedding took place outdoors - note the apples and the grenades, reminding us that Rosh Hashana is near.

My Dad’s hand as he dips a slice of apple in honey for Rosh Hashana (the Jewish New Year’s Eve)

And the beginning of the family feast celebrating the new year:

That wedding looks terrific. I bet you guys had a ball. Plus, it is great to see you adopt the Sarah Palin “beehive” hairdo look!

    (ducking) ;-)
