Knitting and Crocheting – Winter, where art thou?

So, about three weeks ago, we’ve had some early rain. The whole country was celebrating and I got into a nice winter mood and pulled out my piles of wool and knitting gear.

Since then, we’ve been going through two major heat waves (the second one these very days). No rain, hardly any cool days, not to mention cold. There was a winter song on the radio today and the DJ felt he had to remind the listeners that there is this weird meteorological occurrence where water falls on you from the sky. It’s been said that this phenomenon takes place during a time of the year called winter.

So, here I am, with three wooly projects over and done with. The first two of these scarves are going overseas – hopefully in America it will be colder than here this winter.

The third one is a knitted piece which I made for my six year old niece. It’s lighter and fluffier, and, well, pinkier…

Very pretty scarves! It is definitely cold here, at least in New England. I’m glad you found me!
