Who to Vote For – The Kids Know

We were waiting in the car today, for one of Ron’s after school lessons, when the boys began talking about the up and coming elections tomorrow. They were worried that they still hadn’t made up their minds about who to vote for (even though they know they still have to wait for over a decade to get the vote, still, best be preapred!)

It didn’t take them too long to get to the conclusion that they need to vote for the Israeli Green party. Ron, a serious thinker at the age of seven, was impressed by  the fact that they’re the only party that wants to save the Earth. Five year old Dan had an even better reason, green being his all-time favorite color.

They have changed their minds by the way, within hours. Their favorite politician is our town’s mayor, and they really wanted to vote for him again (they were huge supporters during the municipal elections). Since he isn’t running for the national elections, they asked about his political leaning and said they will vote for his party. So, there you go, Barak – two more votes for you in 11 and 13 years from now!

Well, one thing we can all agree on. If Spiderman were running, you can bet your booty he’d get their votes. Even someone as well-rounded as Superman might have a problem with that guy.

    Your kids are solid!

Thousands disagree, but I take that as a compliment. I need them.

And some things are just plain obvious, lol. Thanks for the laugh!
