It’s been such an arid last few days, up until this morning. We’re talking eastern winds, which are dry and hot, for several days, in the middle of December. Everyone suffered quietly, but after a couple of days, you could hear people complaining about chapped lips and skin, and even nosebleeds, all over the place. I couldn’t bring myself to run during these days – it just felt like too much. I know, I know, it’s just an excuse and I should have run anyway.
Still, this morning, it was so nice waking up to thick gray clouds covering the sky. It wasn’t too cold, just cool enough to be nice, and everything had that nice scent of fresh rain. It was just a drizzle, so I put on my running shoes and went out for a glorious half an hour, enjoying the fresh colors of the trees and flowers, and even of the red earth on the trails behind our street. Lovely.
Those hot days brought with them quite a few annoying flies. I’ve been zapping them away with our rackets every day. I finally took my revenge! By revamping my pest control website and adding a guide about electric fly swatters
