We went visiting my 96 years old Grandpa today. The boys are always thrilled about his age, and he challenged them with calculating it again, telling them he was born in 1912. Their first answer was that he was 1008 years old. Dan, who’s only five himself, was very much impressed by that.
Dan: “Wow, Grandpa, you are really old. You must have been around before the time of Man!”
Me: “Dan, that doesn’t make sense. If it was before the age of Man, how could a man be there?”
Dan: “Duh, Mom, he must have been an ape back then.”
