Getty Center - Probably not ideal for the kids, but our Dan does consider himself an art fan, and this does seem to be a huge museum which is sure to impress him. It’s also free to enter, so at most, we don’t spend too long there, or maybe hang mostly around the gardens.

Page Museum at the La Brea Tar Pits - Looks like something interesting and different for the kids in LA
